IBEC (IQnet Business Excellence Class) is an assesment service of the companies' performance; to takes as references the most used excellence models in the world such as the EFQM (European Foundation for Quality Management) in Europe and MBNQA (Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award) in America. The IBEC service has been developed by integrating the principles mentioned in these models along with the requirements included in the ISO 9000/14001 standards. The aim is to provide to the certified organisations, through an integrated audit , a report both for the compliance to the ISO standards and for the positioning inside the chosen business model thanks to the scores provided . By this integrated assessment service the assessed company can address its organisation towards the maintenance of the ISO 9000/14001 compliance necessary to confirm the relevant certification and towards the achievement of the target scores of the chosen business model.

The organizations able to achieve a score higher than the relevant threshold are listed in the IBEC directory and they are allowed to use the IBEC mark which distinguishes the "organizations best in class" among the certified companies in the world.
